Having taken over from Roy Sinclair as the communication person for Scottish Rowing, Carol Wallace feels it is time to ask all you budding journalists out there to submit articles for a info/news sheet for our sport. The head season is over - how did your club fare? Was it a series of training races building fitness or were you really pleased with your performances? As we move into Regatta season, what are your aims/goals for your club? Do you have any plans for publicising the sport during the Olympics - big screen showings in the club-house? Taster sessions for the public? Let us help publicise to the public and also to the rest of the rowing community. Please submit articles and pictures to Carol (comms@scottish-rowing.org.uk) before 30th April 2012. Her aim is to produce a downloadable magazine - preferably with lots of pictures and not too text heavy. We know there are lots of rowing photographers out there so if there are any pictures of interest, please forward them too (copyright will remain with you). Please don't make us come and twist arms for copy!
